War on terror-simulation.

This is a well-made simulation about the problems with WAR on terror. It's a good idea and realy pushes a point. Try it.

This is very inaccurate.
First of all, terrorists don't just wander around aimlessly in their town. In reality (something this simulation is not aware of), terrorists leave their home-town, go to other towns, and kill civilians there. Second, most terrorist are not vengeful at all. They are fanatics. Osama Ben-Laden, for example, is a rich man, whose family owes its fortune to the West. Still, he is a terrorist. Similarly, the men he sent into the WTC and the Pentagon were not poor, hurt innocents. They did what they did because they sincerely believed that the Koran commands them to do that. Lastly, it is much more likely that, after a blast, the civillians would go and arrest other terrorists themselves before the Americans or whoever shoot again.

That was pretty stupid. Was that supposed to show that when you kill someone, their relatives turn into terrorists.
So what you're trying to say is that we shouldn't leave any survivors? Well, I guess that would work. Good job! (sarcasm) |

What are you talking about, I was thinking of the problem with not being able to use multiple rockets or nukes even. If everybodys dead there won't be any terrorists left. Problem solved.

I believe you missed the point of the sumulation. Are you implying that all of the people are terrorists? I believe the point was to show that terrorists (if that's the right word) are created by the actions of others. While too simplistic a message, I believe the point is a valuable one. SLM3 |

Obviously, all of the people in that town were terorrists -- once you drop some of them, they kneel down to take their shoes off, and slip the civilian clothes off to reveal the terrorist outfit.
I think the point of the game is that we need a missle with a larger blast radius.
