TFP Ballot Box, Politcal Affiliation?

Personally I'm undecided. Just wanted to get a feeling of the TFPs political leanings.

I think there's a few of these threads floating around out there somewhere. It's fairly balanced I think.

I put democrat, but really I'm pretty centrist. If the Dems put up someone respectable and centrist (Clinton) I'll support them. At the same time, I'd rather have a slight lean to the right than a slight lean to the left. Right now, when most of the time it's center (Dem) vs right (GOP) I'll vote for the Democrats.

Same here.

My first vote went to a Libertarian, and I've never been registered as anything else in my life.

Democrat, but I look at the candidate, their positions and abilities in addition to their party(i.e I simply could not bring myself to vote for Dukakis and I was working for a Democratic U.S. Senator at the time.). I would have to be considered a conservative/centrist Democrat.

There are a few threads already around asking the same question, i hope that this doesn't become a problem.

Anyway, I vote green, but I rarely vote along party lines.

I vote this to be the worst political affiliation poll ever. Of the eight options, only three are political parties.

LOL!

I put don't care, because I don't care. Supporting a political party is, IMO, like having to choose which leftovers to eat: liver or chicken gizzards. Hmmmmm, just how hungry AM I?

I shoulda put undecided because I'm like rogue49. I've got a lot of things that I agree about with republicans, but I've got a lot I agree with the Dems. I don't really know much about the other parties, but I think if I did, I'd probably agree with their views also on some issues.

If there is a third-party or independent candidate, they get my vote first. Otherwise, I vote to cause gridlock; because if they're too busy screwing each other over, they ain't screwing me.

"Bi-partisan" is the most vulgar word in the English language because it means everyone is getting raped in the deal.

Amen. My mom practically railed at me in the last presidential election for "throwing my vote away". Didn't change my mind, didn't change the filled-in bubble on my ballot.
