here we go kids

National Guard records and Bush's own supervisor's and friends show no sign of him attending any drills or performing any service for nearly a year, from May 1972 until May 1973. This period began with Bush moving to Alabama for a political campaign

http://www.realchange.org/bushjr.htm

this here is a good start

Bush's Resume

GEORGE W. BUSH

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for congress and lost.

I produced a Hollywood slasher B movie.

I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas; company went

bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took

land using taxpayer money. Biggest move: Traded Sammy Sosa to the Chicago

White Sox.

With my father's help (and his name) was elected Governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

I changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas the

most polluted state in the Union.

I replaced Los Angeles with Houston as the most smog ridden city in

America. Cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas government to the tune of

billions in borrowed money. Set record for most executions by any Governor

in American history.

I became president after losing the popular vote by over 500,000 votes,

with the help of my fathers appointments to the Supreme Court.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:

I attacked and took over two countries.

I spent the surplus and bankrupted the treasury.

I shattered record for biggest annual deficit in history.

I set economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12 month
period.

I set all-time record for biggest drop in the history of the stock market.

I am the first president in decades to execute a federal prisoner.

I am the first president in US history to enter office with a criminal record.

I am the first year in office set the all-time record for most days on
vacation by any president in US history.

After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the
worst security failure in US history.

I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips than any other president
in US history.

In my first two years in office over 2 million Americans lost their job.

I cut unemployment benefits for more out of work Americans than any president
in US history.

I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.

I appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any
president in US history.

I set the record for the least amount of press conferences than any president
since the advent of television.

signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any
president in US history.

I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to
intervene when corruption was revealed.

I presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history and refused to use
the national reserves as past presidents have.

I cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.

I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to
the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for
protest against any person in the history of mankind
(http://www.hyperreal.org/~dana/marches).

I dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.

My presidency is the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history.

Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history.

(The 'poorest' multimillionaire, Condoleeza Rice has a Chevron oil tanker
named after her).

I am the first president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union
simultaneously go bankrupt.

I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any
country in the history of the world.

I am the first president in US history to order a US attack and military
occupation of a sovereign nation, and I did so against the will of the United
Nations and the world community.

I created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the
United States.

I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more
than any president in US history.

I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the
US from the human rights commission.

I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the
US from the elections monitoring board.

I removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of co
ngressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history.

I rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant.

I withdrew from the World Court of Law.

I refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no
longer abide by the Geneva Conventions.

I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations election
inspectors (during the 2002 US elections).

I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign
donations.

My biggest lifetime campaign contributor, who is also one of my best friends,
presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history
(Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation).

I spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history.

I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and
then lied saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1)

I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government.

I took the biggest world sympathy for the US after 911, and in less than a
year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest
diplomatic failure in US and world history).

I, with a policy of 'disengagement' created the most hostile
Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years.

I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of
Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and
stability.

I am the first US president in history to have the people of South Korea more
threatened by the US than their immediate neighbor, North Korea.

I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government
contracts.

I set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated US
law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government
contracts.

I failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive'.

I failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our
country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months I have no
leads and zero suspects.

In the 18 months following the 911 attacks I have successfully prevented any
public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the
United States.

I removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other
president in US history.

In a little over two years I created the most divided country in decades,
possibly the most divided the US has ever been since the civil war.

I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than
two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

I have At least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving

record has been erased and is not available).

I was AWOL from National Guard and deserted the military during a time of war.

I refuse to take drug test or even answer any questions about drug use.

All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to my
fathers library, sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.

All records of any SEC investigations into my insider trading or bankrupt
companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.

All minutes of meetings for any public corporation I served on the board are
sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.

Any records or minutes from meetings I (or my VP) attended regarding public
energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.

For personal references please speak to my daddy or uncle James Baker

(They can be reached at their offices of the Carlyle Group for
war-profiteering.)

and a last one for now due to the lack of intrest

Documents obtained by The Sunday Times reveal that in August 1972, as a 26-year-old subaltern in the Air National Guard, Bush was grounded for failing to "accomplish" an annual medical that would have indicated whether he was taking drugs.

Rumours of cocaine use and "lost weekends in Mexico" have plagued Bush Jr, 53, son of the last Republican president, for months since he declared himself a candidate in the presidential race.

They don't point it out for a reason. It really isn't as bad as Democrats/Librals/Bush haters make it sound for one. The request for leave (to help run a campaign for a family friend) was approved by his immediate superiors, but was later rescinded by some higher ups. When he came back he put in some hard work to make up for what he'd lost until eventually asking for and recieving a honorable discharge.

In this context, the reason Democrats/Liberals/Bush haters don't bring it up is because their champion actually ran to Canada during Vietnam. It would be hypocritical of them, and they know they'd get blasted for it.

See, here's the thing. Clinton was a civillian. Bush was active-duty military. His transfer wasn't OKed, so he was AWOL. He was AWOL for more than 30 days...guess what they call -this-?

That's right, Shrub is a DESERTER. Among all those other things, which are simply a matter of public record.

Look who pulled out the Clinton card first? A fucking dem...or at best a Bush Hater...interesting.

Anyway...I figured it had to be from somewhere...other then the poster...

Interesting that the data was plagerized from cetacean...who referenced nothing more then "another board."

I am no fan of GHWB or his prince GWB...but surely there is more then manufactured AWOL or alledgedly snorting a few lines coke?

The rest of the stuff falls (possibly since it's plagerized and unverifiable) into the realm of one of the three types of lies...statistics. Worthless.

*I DO NOT LIKE OR SUPPORT GEORGE W BUSH*
Having said that I can not, nor would I doubt, the claim that George was caught with cocaine, however the National Guard stuff has been completely twisted around to suit people's propaganda. A guardsman in a traditional status, which "W" was for most of his career in the guard CAN NOT be charged with AWOL because gaurdsmen do not fall under the Uniform Code of Military Justice UCMJ. If a guardsman chooses to not show up for a year or so the member is simply put in an inactive status. Was this the "patriotic" thing to do during a war? Perhaps not, but it was nothing against the law.
Also the claim that he was grounded for not taking a physical that would have proved drug use is a pretty big stretch. All flying personel in the Air Force / ANG are required to take a yearly flight physical. It is not uncommon for a guardsman, especially one in inactive status, to miss their yearly physical causing them to be grounded until they complete it.

Do you and/or Sixate believe the media is liberal?

If so, why wouldn't a liberal media at least try to make a big deal out of this information?

Yeah, and who are they going to compare him agaisnt in the Democratic party? The sexual deviant, or the racist?

People twist shit to make others look bad, thats the political way. I take it all with a grain of salt anyway, even if most of it IS true, most poloticians are fucking dirty, and no one you can put in office is going to be squeaky clean.

I was refering to the democratic party, and liberals in general. But I assume, if it were mostly liberal (I don't know if it is, I get my news from Fox because MSNBC and CNN sucks) I don't think they'd bring it up for the same reasons.

1. Democrats, Liberals and Bush-haters are not all the same thing. The Democratic party is far from liberal, and I know plenty of Republicans who can't stand Bush.

2. Since when was Clinton the "champion" of the (insert your broad generalization for everyone who doesn't agree with you)'s? From now on I will say all people that don't agree with my politics are fans of Hitler, because he was just as fascist as all you who don't agree with me. Ok? Yeah, now we're getting somewhere!

Liberal does not equal Democrat, Conservative does not equal Republican. There are many shades to both of these parties. People become too simplistic when it comes to politics, the one topic that is never simple.

"The Resume" is entertaining to read though not entirely factual. The charges against Clinton were entertaining to read, but not entirely factual. Facts are actually fuzzy things in the world of politics, they can be skewed to fit your needs just as statistics can. However, if only 10% of the Resume is true, anyone who cares about Amercia and the world must take some time to think about whether President Bush should continue with his current employment or retire early.

I am not a fan of the President and will not vote for him, but as a citizen, I have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and as time goes on he lets me down again and again.

There were justifications for going into Iraq, but he rushed in, without truly exploring all of the diplomatic means available to him, without international support and before the situation in Afganistan was fully settled. He diverted the attention of the American people from the true and justified war on terrorism towards a poorly planned, hastily carried out action in Iraq.

He made extensive tax cuts without cutting federal spending and increased unfunded federal mandates for the states, most of whom are billions in the hole.

He has made a mockery of environmental issues with his public initiatives and more effectively with extensive executive orders which he condemed the previous administration for using.

His ignorance of international issues and desire to ignore the Middel East conflict allowed the situation to come to a boil and now the water(and blood) are spilling out of the pot.

I do not care what he did in the National Guard or in college or in Mexico or in business. I care about what he has done in the White House and it is clear to me and my sensibilities that he must go.

This is absolutely false. The National Guard falls under the UCMJ. If a soldier or airman misses a drill without permission a warrant can be issued for their arrest for being AWOL.
