Yes, there are also people who consider birth control to be sinful -- as well as any sex performed without intent to impregnante.
Hey, you answered your own question!

I think the whole women-shouldn't-have-control-over-their-own-bodies thesis of yours pretty much pidgeon-holed you there. Sorry.

<div align=justify>After reading through all the posts in this thread, I must say that I'm quite relieved that most of the arguments focus on the legal specifics of the right of an abortion and not at all about reversing the court's decision. Extremists on both sides of the issue, women who abort every-other-month and those who kill doctors and blow-up abortion clinics in the name of god to protect the children disturb me on different levels. If a woman chooses to abort every-other-month as an idiotic form of birth-control and has the procedure done according to the laws of the state in which said procedure is performed, then the only probable harm I see that is done is to her finances, self-respect, her loved ones and really, ultimately herself. Do I think it's right of her? Morally I'd have to say no, but legally, it's her right and if she follows the guidelines of the law then my morality has no jurisdiction or say over that right. Now for the other extreme, murder is wrong. Period. (You don't see militant conservatives blowing up IRS buildings because they don't like what's happening inside, do you?;p ) Rules, regulations and limits are set for all of our cherished rights, so that they aren't abused, but to take a right away just because of a change of heart or justices or morality, I feel, is criminal and should be avoided.</div>

I can't think of any religious group who would consider it sinful to use birth control, but then be fine with using abortion as such a method of it. Are you blowing smoke, or is there actually a legitimate claim of correlation?
