New Zealand Pics {large}
A few pictures from my trip to New Zealand. Nearly 80 others and a boring travelog are in my journal. I'm curious whether this picture size and resolution works well for most people.

Outstanding photos. Loved the low lying clouds in the mountains and the still waters, also.

That last picture makes me want to go MOO! :)
I think they turned out really well - especially like the first shot and the play on shadows . |
Beautiful
Too much beauty and too few words to describe it. Thanks for capturing it on film!
|
You have made me want to go there even more than I already do. ANnd I REALLY wanted to go there already. Thanks for your submission.

New Zealand, One is the shores of Lake Manapouri, Fiordland, South Island, and the other the Red Crater, on Mt Tongariro. I visited both locations this summer while out tramping (hiking in American).
The Red Crater is active and is often billowing smoke, but not the day I was there. |
holy fuck. Every one of those is so gorgeous...I want to go so badly. I think the coolest one has to be the lagoon surrounded by mountains...I mean that landscape is a work of art. So incredibly gorgeous, every one of them

it's lord of the rings!! :-) those are some incredibly beautiful pictures man. i hear the Aussies on TFP say a lot of crap about New Zealand, but i think it's an absolutely beautiful place and i want to go there. thanks for sharing your pictures! i've got a new desktop wallpaper now. :-)

Ahhh the Aussies are just jealous... They just can't handle that much of their land is desolate while NZ is just all beautiful...
|
Those are some really awesome pictures
thanks for sharing them |

New Zealand is in the volcanic region of the Pacific, so we get some very pretty colours and formations. This photo is the Emerald Lakes on the popular one day walk called the Tongariro Crossing. It's in the North Island.

Outstanding photos!

Wow, those are amazing! I like the slow shutter speed on the water pics.

More volcanic colours, this is a high altitude lake.

Fantastic pictures! Reminds me of the old country. Not that I've emigrated yet, but I'm currently stuck in Illinois :( .. a far cry from Norway.
|
those are great! MOO!
|
oh shit those first 4 are amazing! what kind of camera are you using?
|
Very nice quality on those first pictures, and that looks very beautiful, I would love to go for at least one weekend and just be relaxed
