Odd Looking Tree
At first i thought that the centre of the tree was cut out for the phone lines, I had a closer look and didn't see any signs of anything being cut out..I have a high resoloution of this shot..But photobucket resizes.

that's a strange looking tree. you sure the owner didnt prune it? anyway, interesting pic.

I would bet the electric crew has pruned it back, maybe a long time ago and it grew/healed up that way. Or maybe the high electric field causes that to happen, but I'd go with my first thought.

It's been pruned... It was just pruned when it was smaller... most of the cuts would have been absorbed into the trunk by now.
That tree is going to have to come down before it falls down though... It is a real candidate for falling on that house. |

I live in the old part of brampton (Charlatan) There is a ton of huge tree's around here. Some of the side streets the trees are so big that the branches grow over from each side and it's almost like a tunnel...I'm sure lots of places have streets like this, But it's nice to look at. |
Im sure it has just evolved to grow around the power lines..... ive seen some other trees do this.

man i should get my camera i have tree in my backyard, when its green and leaves it looks like angel wings, but now since its winter and cold :(
