Can you explain the protest with the picture frame. I don't get it.

I don't get the frame either, but I do see they turned the debate locale into a real fortress. All that high fencing and barbed wire. Just didn't see the machine gun nests on the roofs.

Thanks for the look, amonkie.

Ooooh, if you happen to have any opportunities, I'd love to see some pictures of the Badnarik protestors there tomorrow

Its almost like the coverage of college football games with all the tents, satellite trucks, etc. With the exception of the barbed wire fences.

Thanks for the peek.

I go to ASU and I don't understand half the protests that people do. And I don't pay attention to the other half.

i have that same fencing in my front yard (construction zone) right now... minus the barbed wire & it's not shiny brand new looking like in those pics.

the height & width look ever so slightly off in these pics.
things look a tad bit tall & skinny in a few of these shots.
i checked your html. you put no height & width tags... how'd you manage that slight distortion?

Bern,

I think I batch resized all the pictures to 500x 475, and that could be why they are off. I was also trying to take pictures quickly when there weren't people walking by, so some of the angles are off.

As far as the protestor goes, I don't really know what he was doing, other than his shirt said "protestor" and he was being interviewed. I would have taken pictures on the day of the debate, but I was on my way to Hawaii, so was able to avoid the madness that ASU continued for that day.

They were there, I think.... they had the dorm next to the auditorium in an uproar because there were supposedly going to be snipers on the roof. Obviously, they didn't want someone else's snipers to get our snipers, so they were out of view, if they were there, and I'm pretty sure they were.

I suppose it worked. He's got people all over the world interested in his cause. Whatever it is.
