Here in Virginia we refer to those as Mc Mansions

cJoe 04-19-2003 07:25 AM

That one needs some attention of the lake in front.

Which Camera? And did anyone else notice that the uneven cloud cover in house4.jpg the background is bathed in sunlight.

BoCo 04-19-2003 10:11 AM

The camera is a Sony DSC-P7 CyberShot, 3.2 megapixel.

HAHA! That's what I love about Columbia. $1,000,000 here will easily get you 7-8,000sq-ft and a lake view. That last house is 28,000sq-ft and "only" cost $2.9 million.

zizdog69 04-20-2003 05:17 AM

The last house is the best. Great pic shot too!

skinnedmink 04-20-2003 09:22 AM

Anyone living in those houses have a unwed daughter of legal marrying age?

Crazboos 04-20-2003 06:11 PM

Cha-ching!

Miami for $2.9 M you get 1/4 or a 1/5 of that......

Apollo 04-20-2003 09:07 PM

here in Silicon Valley you get a shack for $1M and you're thankfull for it.

Cuball 04-21-2003 10:23 AM

hello !!!! those look amazing :-) I wish I had a few million dollars (or Euro's) on my bank account !!

vorovsky 04-21-2003 02:03 PM

wow, those are some dang nice houses

troit 04-22-2003 10:48 AM

Yeah a million dollars really doesn't get what it used to in DC. The average cost of a 1800 sq.ft. townhouse around here is about $250,000 and people are spending upwards of $450,000 for these. Bringing in a single family home is a completely different story.

People are paying $500,000 - $600,000 for a 1950's 2500 sq.ft. single family home on 1/8 of an acre in Arlington where you could spit on your neighbor.

Force 10 05-13-2003 05:24 PM

I wish.

d4in 05-14-2003 01:28 PM

wow...those are some nice places...the prices are about the same here. I've been in a few $1M homes to do wiring and such...always makes me jealous.

foohzy 05-14-2003 01:32 PM
