What can I say? It's a city on the Willamette (Will - `am- it) River.

Great shot. That's near home for me, or used to be.

Lived in Salem awhile as a kid. Remember heading up to Portland one time to see the zoo. Great state. ALOT of trees. The Cascade mountains where a very nice sight. Wouldnt mind going back some day just to see all the sights.

i've only been in portland once, for just 2 nights, but that was long enough for me to decide it is a very nice & very friendly city.
i'd go back in a heartbeat.

It is one of the great secrets of the Northwest, "it doesn't always rain !". When it's nice it's great.

Yes, all in all Portland is a very clean city. No graffitti on the Bridges ('though it appears sometimes <em>under</em> them.

I live in Hillsboro, like 20 minutes from Portland. I love Portland, very nice, safe and clean (except for that river- dirty as hell)
