st. augustine.
spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning in St. Augustine, FL.
took photos for the first time in a long while. and it was nice. (not to mention meeting the inimitable noodle, which was an honor and a pleasure). didn't get a ton of interesting shots, but i'm posting my favorite ones here. this photo is just for informational purposes, if you're in St. Augustine and you see this guy, turn around and walk in the opposite direction. (loud evangelist with a microphone) that yellow building in the background is where noodle and I partook of some excellent margaritas the rest of these were taken early Sunday morning. this place noodle showed me when we were leaving on Sat. night. I hoped they would be open so I could get a pastry and a coffee, but they weren't opening until 10:00am. I was planning to be long gone by then. always gotta do a reflection shot. gotta love this guy.

That door in daylight looks like this... or it did three years ago.
I love how eerie it looks now and in the half-light! Great shot, MM. And the evangelist was so weird. Are You Prepared?!?!

All the pics are great... I am so jealous of your abilities, ladies. Even with good equipment, I can't take good pictures.
I love the bridge, and, of course, door 210. I will give the nod to MM's version though (sorry, Noodle)... the shadows give it a little more atmosphere/character.

thank you, both
my version of the door was taken much earlier in the day, plus there is some vignetting on the edge of the photo to make it look a little gloomier. just seemed to fit. what I liked most about that photo was the colors.
