blood-sucking vultures.
no, not really. just the regular kind. apparently they like hanging around the dumpster at the construction site here in our neighborhood.
this is actually the 2nd time I have photographed vultures. just happened that way. these birds were a lot more skittish than the ones I photographed back in Orlando. they're not spectacular photographs or anything, but there is something to be said for their beauty in flight...wish I could have captured it better. their wings are pretty amazing.

yes, they were pretty in color, but I loved the way the wings were defined in b&w
thank you :-) I think it's really cool how the last five feathers on their wings are almost like fingers.
