I Remember These
 

I know, I know. This is just an image "antiqued out" in iPhoto, but I liked they way it turned out.

I took the photo today at an antique auto show at one of the state parks here in Florida.

I'm old enough to remember when photographs such as these were commonplace.

I love the look of these cars - they just don't make them like it any more.

Lovely photo - the reflections on the car doors...

Here is one more at the risk of them becoming boring.

This one was edited with both iPhoto and PSE in an attempt at reproducing the look of all the old photos I used to see in my grandparents' and parents' collections.

The vignette was common in the prints we had so I included it here.

Car show photography is difficult as there are so many background distractions to be dealt with. In this case, it was difficult to isolate "modern" items from the antique autos in order to reproduce the old photograph look, i.e. the 50 state US Flag and current license plate in the below image. Bonus points for anyone having noticed these.


In any event, it made for an enjoyable photo trip.
