Were these pieces displayed at the Toronto Zoo specifically, or were they just found somewhere in Toronto, and you attributed the "zoo" title to identify the sculptures as those that would be typified as certain wild animals most likely to be portrayed at a common zoo?

These were displayed at the Toronto Zoo. You could even see the artist himself sculpting. It was quite unique.

The dragonfly however was found in a shop in the zoo.

Very cool and wise. The Toronto Zoo is quite expansive, so this a fine collection to add to the attraction.

Did you happen to catch the artist's name(s) (is he a native Canadian?)?

Actually, growing up, the Zoo was in my Neighbourhood. I spent a lot of time there and in the valley around it.
