Some of my work...
So I've been doing live band* photography for around 5 years now. These are a few of my favs, some are older and some are kinda new.
I'd love to know what everyone thinks, as I am trying to make a living out of this. Those are some great shots. What equipment are you using?
|
Nice. I especially like the Joan Jett shot.
|
Great shots! Thanks for sharing

Great shots. I liked the Bouncing Souls the most. The star like effect of the light in the background, complete with a halo just makes this one stand out.
|
Very nice indeed!
|
great use of available lighting, and motion shots are just perfect. unusual crop on that last one, but I think it works really well!
good stuff, now maybe show us some more...... |
It's all horrible. Stick to slingin' ice cream.
Love you. |
I like them, very nice indeed!
I am also interested in the equipment that you are using. |
Well thanks guys! It's nice when people actually notice and see what you see. It's not that easy, I think anyone can take a camera to a show and get 'pics' but not many can create art from it. I strive to create art. *steps off soap box*
As for equipment, I shoot Canon. I currently use a 40D. I also use a 2 gig 300 speed card, it really helps with action shooting, it's super fast. I have a 24-85mm lens that I usually shoot with. I also have a 28-80mm with a 'fish eye adapter' that does some cool bending but it's bu no means a true wide angle. |
Kudos. Looks like you shot these at a festival which are hard enough to shoot. If these are indicative of your entire body of work then I'd say you'd do well to go wider and get as close as possible.
Good shots. Any more to share? |

I love the movement you capture too. Cool pics. |
I'm still doing it for the free website, but I've been getting more work from there and also doing a TON more interviews, so that helps get my name with the PR firms.
Soon I shall have my name in lights... or rather in a magazine under the photos I take. Thanks for the kind words... <3 |
