Photography by Marietta Losada so, maybe the graffiti here isn't the focal point, but I doubt anybody would complain.

and backtracking a little bit, BANKSY continues his rolling film tour in the states, and to promote this innovational creative piece of filmography, he is tagging all the different locales in which the screenings are being held.
Additional Banksy pieces spotted in the wild (clockwise from left): Seattle, Detroit, San Francisco, Toronto. [arrestedmotion.]

Correction: about those Toronto pieces? Yeah, they're getting shafted.
"Famed British street artist Banksy has never done any work on Toronto streets before—at least not, it looks like, until now. They are not just being stolen... in an ironic twist, they're actually being defaced and tagged themselves. Photo by @Rob Tyrie. Read more about the stories at the source... [Torontoist.]

"Banksy Strikes Again"
New Banksy pieces spotted in and around Boston (above: Chinatown; below: Central Square, Cambridge). (as I've continually done, this is a progressing endeavor to update and detail where the newest "graffitic / street art" pieces done by BANKSY are appearing in North America, as a direct correlation to his new film, "Exit Through the Gift Shop".) another installation in the nationwide tour:
(you can probably guess who this is by) seen in downtown Manhattan and if you ever wondered for what reason this gigantic thing was there for... it was probably just to liven up the neighborhood (created / installed in Soho, NYC the first go-around, near two years ago)

Thanks for telling us about that, Cynth. I haven't actually seen the piece in person (haven't been to NYC in the past 4 years) but I thought I still could have had a chance. I might have to do some research and see if the "other" giant Banksy rat is still up, though I think that one is in London.

It's unreal in the way he almost created a new genre of filmmaking and marketmanship, just because he was being stalked by some French guy with a mission to interview him. And apologies to those who may feel I'm making too much fuss, and giving too much exposure to any one Graffitic artist, but for 1) He's arguably the most renowned street artist, let alone actual "artist", worldwide right now (probably due to the fact his pieces can actually be seen in streets worldwide) coming up to 2) in that he is also one of the most "mysterious" personalities we have seen since Dali (or even Daft Punk) and finally 3) these graffiti/street art installations are actually beginning to spawn in nearly every Metropolitan area's backyards, so if you do get a chance, why not see what the fuss his message is actually about, I say. - - - The current status of one of the New Orleans pieces.
