I was freaking out in chat one day because of this giant grasshopper:

Ranger, I'm sure it was big, but theres no way to tell there. Was it the size of a quarter? pen cap? cookie? etc.

Here's a hummingbird moth paying a visit to my lilacs

Strictly speaking, not a macro, as I took it with a 300mm lens fully zoomed (hand held!), but the effect is very similar. I think I had two filters on it to be able to open the apeture wide enough to get any kind of DOF blur. I wish it was sharper, but I was doing manual focus, and this was the best of the bunch.
