Photo Challenge - Doors
I like photographing doors. I just do.
I know of at least one other TFP shutterbug who likes taking pictures of them, too. Give us your best door pictures. And, please, no smartass Jim Morrison posts, okay? Ray Manzarek or the other one, either. Here are two of my favorites:

Ahhh, this is a thread for me. I love doors--especially old, fancy ones in Europe (which is where we've been for the last 18 months). Here are 10 of my favorites... the first 2 are from an Art Nouveau-era house in Lyon, France (inside and outside), the 3rd is from one of the doors into Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, the 4th is from a door of the medieval Nidaros cathedral in Trondheim, Norway, and the 5th is from the famous Baptistry doors in Florence, Italy (by Ghiberti, if I remember my art history correctly).

Continuing on... the 6th and 7th doors are from Florence, Italy; the 8th is from a cathedral in Bilbao, Spain; and the 9th and 10th were taken by ktsp in Barcelona, Spain. (The 9th is from the doors of the Sagrada Familia cathedral by Gaudi, and the 10th is of a palace in Barcelona--I was just standing there in amazement, since I love doors so much).

Fantastic! Thank you, abaya.
And I missed Skafe's and Paddyjoe's contributions up there previously. Lovely. Skafe, it's getting to where I can recognize one of your shots without even looking at your avatar. I think that's a good sign.
