landmark and other mid morning potentialities
i worry sometimes that i will turn a corner walk straight into 1903. i think that is what happened to each element in the crowd. they are standing around trying to figure a way back their own time-scale. if you put your face right up against the monitor, you can see the strange mix of clothing.

Like my brain on ice
A tree near my home after having been repeatedly splashed by cars driving through a big puddle in the road.

Hey! That's kind of like this dog...this was at the Tampa ASPCA...but as soon as I saw your picture, I thought of this dog...he was very sweet.

Indeed MM - he looks very sweet.
I envy you guys - I've always wanted a dog but was never able to adopt one and now that I can, my schedule won't all for it.

What a great shot. The contrast of old and new, red and blue. Really fantastic.

today of the 4 or more of us in the house 3 of us are in various modalities of the hangover. i wanted to take a picture of the hangovers themselves and not the people who have them. after experimenting with many approaches, i momentarily settled my stomach and chose this one:
and here for your delectation is a vector diagram of modes of unfolding within the general state referenced above:

Today is the Boo's birthday. She is 9. This is what she has decided she wants to do to celebrate. Although we are certain not to look so adorable. Love those little skating outfits...I wish I lived in the days of little outfits. I hope I don't break something...although, I am bringing my camera. Maybe I can get away with just documenting the event.

They gave me a computer to work at today. Now I have a nametag and a computer...it might be nice to stay at this place for a few months. I could do that...I'm enjoying the feeling of being a temp. Not committed. Not tied down. FREE.
