Good sport or sore loser
Now I have had this idea in my head for a while, would you rather be a good sport or a sore loser when you lose or dont accomplish what you wanted?
On one hand you can say its not important and be able to brush it off and do other things. While on the other you have a more intence mentality, you work yourself up and you have more motivation to succeed in the future. So which one of these extremes should you use to succeed? |
i don't think that getting myself worked up over things gives me motivation, it just makes me more upset and less productive. i think my motivation is pretty much a constant, so i would say that brushing things off is more helpful in my personally endevours.

You don't have to lack passion to be classy in defeat. Being a poor loser says more about lack of maturity than intensity and drive.

What filtherton said.

Filtherton Comes through!

I second (or is it fourth?) filtherton. There's got to be some kind of balance there.
An afterthought: What bothers me more than sore losers are the people who gloat in victory and sulk in defeat. What I mean is, I'm okay if you gloat when you win, if you can take it when you lose, and vice versa. |
