speaking of connections

A few years ago my sister was pregnant (4months) and I was working 3rd shift. One night I thought I kept hearing my name over the intercom. I went up and asked my boss about it probably about 4 times. He started to think I was crazy. When I got home that morning the phone was ringing. I picked it up and it was my mom. She told me that my sister was in the hospitol that night and had lost her baby. I broke down. She told me that my sister really needed me and that she had asked for me all night. I asked her if she had called me at work. My mom said they had tried but they didn't know the number.
I knew when she lost her second one also.
I also knew when my sister's boyfriend kicked her out. I was working and all the sudden the thought "he kicked her out" was in my head. Out of nowhere. That kind of stuff happens a lot.

You hear about that stuff happening all the time...some kind of telepathy between people that are very close.

More of Gak!!

Well then explain this one to me. Remember the Columbia Burn Up? I love space, and the spaceship, I'm not going to be an astronaught or anything, but I just simply love that stuff, and I love watching the shuttle take off and land, its simply amazing. Well I completely forgot when they were going to land, totally slipped my mind, then that morning out of no where (after about 2 hours of sleep.. I don't wake up PERIOD without 3 hours of sleep...[you could drop me to no avail]). I woke up with this horrible feeling. As I said before, I "hear" things thru feelings. I had no clue what this meant, so i just went back to sleep, One hour later my mom woke me up to let me in on the news about the shuttle. That moment it clicked. I woke up the PRECISE moment as it was ABOUT to disentigrate. I felt their horror as they knew they were about to die. That entire day i was not myself. I was just simply there, I tried to be happy and energetic, but nothing.... Really sucks when people wondered about if ANYONE could have survived, and I knew that that THEY knew they were going to die just before it happened. Come to think of it... I bet no one else reading this knew that the astronaughts knew they were going to die. I remembered when i woke up as i looked at the clock (atomic clock, and it shines on the ceiling when the main light in my room isn't on), and times matched up to about when the ship went bye bye.

That one I know the connection. A while ago tho, A month or two ago, I remember just filling up with tears for no apparent reason. I still don't know why, but i became inexplicably sad and teary eyed. Something happened to someone, I only wish I knew who..

Hmm, just realized, I hear my name all the time.. Constantly I'm yelling out to the main room, asking who just called me, yet I always get the answer, "NO ONE!!!" Freaky, Who keeps thinking of me?

JuJuEye : We need to keep this stuff up in order for a paranormal board, I suggest to get word around, you mimic my siggy (the paranormal part obviously), Just switch my name with yours.

Podmore: Nothing is too little... According to many people, all of this is "looney bin" material. They don't realize just how real all of this really is. And if you haven't noticed, you're "minor" thing has only brought up more to speak about!

GSTRIDER: Yeah see? She's just a little girl. That kinda explains why she'd be freaked out when a guy has fun, with or without a woman. As for what she still does there? I have not a clue, but just make sure not to destroy her toys, as if they still exist, I'm sure she loves them.

I've got a few questions.....

Okay, let me set my stage for you. I believe in all this stuff, although I've had on rare occasion to see it or experience it. I can count on my hands the number of times I've come up against something I can't explain away and it's never something as blatantly in your face as demonic activity or hostile poltergeists.

I've read over the three pages of replies; I've read countless websites; I've watched endless amounts of television on this; interviewed dozens of folks who have experienced these kinds of phenomena.

Where are all the cavemen ghosts? I'm not being facetious, far from it. If folks have been dying for hundreds of thousands of years how come I only read stories about American Revolution era to present ghosts. I've only heard tales of "recent death" spirits. Everyone tells the tale of the wounded soldier standing outside their door, but never have I seen a story of Grog the caveman walking across the field outside..... Is that clear? I'm trying....

If the theory that ghosts are leftovers of horrendous happenings, then do horrendous happenings overlap previous horrendous happenings?

Why are orbs such a recent phenomena? I'd never seen reference to ghostly orbs until a few years ago when I saw them on a television show and now they're all over the place. Same thing with "ribbon ecto." Whatever it's called it seems to be a recent phenomena as well.

Like I've said I've had my fair share of spooky happenings as well, but they're relatively tame compared to some of you guys' experiences. I've hit "see my breath" cold spots in houses in the middle of summer. I've seen flashes of figures from the corner of my eyes. I've watched chairs move across the floor by themselves. And I've had a serious staring contest with this guy before....
Quote:
The house me and alpha phi live in has some sort of ghost animal and a guy that stands there and watches us. When alpha phi first seem him it scared the shit out of him. He was like "who the f*** is in my house!!??"

But again, nothing....nothing compared to some of you. Some of you seem to be communicating with your ghosts....how do you do that?

seeing inanimate objects is cool, seeing a demon is fucking scary. not scary like a horror movie... true, deep primal fear untill you've seen enough...

one thing i can offer that may help (though it gives me no solace) is that maybe they had no soul. or maybe they were too innocent to know true evil for what it is, thus escaping murder/violence normally assosiacted with 'ghosts'.

(btw, i still have many doubts and questions concerning ghosts)

one thing that strikes me odd are lack of spirits in hospitals. not a total lack, i've stared one down over a course of hours, but no 'ghosts' or anything. i use to stroll the hiospitals every day cuz i was admitted for weekss. all in all i've probably covered 50+ miles in them to see nothing.

HOWEVER, there are ministers and priests all over. priests rites are possible cleansers and i think this is why.

because horror would be at its peak with the realization of death, maybe?

i have no idea what to say about the globes. its a fuckin mystery. they can't (so far) be caught or captured and masters of graphical skills have had no luck with trying to mimic..... we just don't know.

I know if it turns out to be a lightning bug on crystal meth i'm gonna laugh for years.

i loathe cold spots. that is so fucking fucked up. its another thing sciencetists are baffled about. occasional equipment drops down, what 30 degrees? ass to why, no idea.

the animated objects is what gets me that people see and still say 'oh its not real'.

i wanna see a spirit build like an entired house out of Legos and THEN someone try to disprove it

i don't think anybody has a pure answer to why they are unique with their ability to make some kind of communication with the things. it just happens. i just talk in everyday speach, although i've once rebuked a would be attacker through angelica possession, and i listen. i kill all noise, all electro anything. i look and listen... remember they can get their point accross in many different ways.

My guess to why we never see Grog is like this. Before anyeone can see, hear, know... UNDERSTAND the paranormal, they have to be open to it. Well if you aren't prepared to see it, then you chances of it being noticed by YOU aren't as likely. Because of this, we're open to ghosts, and yet we are more open to the sight of people within the last coupla hundred years. And that is why we see them. Perhaps Grog is standing behind me, I don't know, I have yet to open fully to that far ago. Past that, I don't even know what i'm looking for, so I'd probably shove it off for a long time still thinking it was just a blurb.

Of course if you put religion into the aspect, which I personally would do. Then you have to figure out why ghosts are here. Not demons or angels, as they are always here, but ghosts.. ofpeople that once lived. WHY would they be here if God existed? Well some might say that they are wandering the Earth until their Spot in line has reached God, and would begin their Judgement. If this is true, then we don't see Grog because Grog has already been judged, he is no longer wandering the Earth. This of course would also show why we only see spirits within the last hundred years or so. Perhaps that is how long the line is. You could also say that .... Times Change. If the spirit can look like s/he is wearing clothes, then can't they change them?? So times change, and Grog decided why wear a loin cloth when he can be decked out in the best tux you've ever seen? And past that why not shave that beard off, now that you don't cut your chin off in the process. This would make us confused of what we're seeing.

I had yet another Hypothetical situation, but upon hearing that my uncle and aunt had a baby girl last night, my thoughts have wandered off. But perhaps these are idea that might happen.

As to you "nothing compared to some of you." Not really, every Little thing is JUST as great as every 'big' thing. I feel spirits, and i see them with a glance, that is me. I have NEVER seen a chair move on its own. The really warm areas and cold areas? The closest I've ever come to those are the hot and cold spots on my floor, but thats due to the heating (2 story house + tile floor does that). Maybe there are all around me, but since temp changes don't really bother me (especially cold ones), I just don't notice.... Either way I've never noticed the "see your breath" cold spots. So to say you're little stuff is little, well its not. Because we haven't all gone through what you have gone thru, thus making your ventures just as great and amazing,... and Awesome as ours.

Yeah people don't die with many thoughts left behind when they're in a hospital, that probably helps. And if they DO die with thoughts left, I assume they'd go THERE, not stay in the hospital... And yeah the Feeling of Priests would be calming, so i doubt you'd see them running or anything

Globes? Spirits playing tricks? Angels with their true light actually shwoing through to our realm? Or aliens confusing us? Who knows... Not I.

Cold spot, again I know not. I feel cold chills all the time, but i feel them anywhere. I have noticed them to be how I "communicate" with spirits/ghosts. So perhaps a cold spot to you, is a happy feeling to me. I would have to team up with you for that one.

Animated Objects I have not seen, tho I have seen vehicles drive by (thats my comic relief for the day )

For me, I talk to them, out loud and sometimes with thoughts, perhaps they can feel what I feel, as I can feel what they feel. The difference between me and you Z, is when you listen to shut everything down, When i purposely try to do that, I have to be in a "religious mode." At that point I seriously feel enlightened as one would put it. There I can notice things like crazy. I feel spirits all around, it is quite amazing. Testing this in a hospital would be weird tho, as then I would be unsure if I was feeling spirits or just living peoples' emotions. But as for normal listening, to me, I've just accepted that I see them at glances and feel them when they are near me or want to "talk" with me. From that they just happen to me on a day to day occurance wheni'm not actively SEARCHING for it. I've spoken with a demon.. in a sense, and yeah i was trying to (he started it... heh) but it wasn't an active.. "I'm going to see a spirit now and talk with him" kinda attidude, just there he is..... "hey whats up?"

Laugh at my antics, reply to my thoughts. I'll give my answer, and then debate for the truth.

yeah as he said about seeing demonic shit? Seeing the face of the devil is NOT something you wanna see EVER. I did once.. and holy shit. I mean yeah, it was one of the most beautiful things I ever did see, but the fear that came afterwords.... Something I can never supress. I have supressed the face to where i just see colors, but i can't make anything out... But that fear.... unforgettable evil. Scary movies... blehg, devil face? Something that makes you run.... i did.. i moved FAST when i saw it. Wasn't an ability tho, A friend saw a normal spirit, and told me where to look, so I tried to see it too. I tried SO hard I opened my mind too much, and Satan decided to show up instead. Had it not dawned on me that I was looking at him.. I would have stared for more than half a second, and he probably would have seriously fucked up my mind. I was VERY lucky that day. Problem, once i felt the fear... wow. See If he just killed me, he wouldn't have my soul, but if he corrupted me.. thats another story, so instead he just tried to capture me, My mind just races, and that worked in my favor. Sorry if i rambled a bit, didn't think the thought would cause me too.

Either way here is my tip for you. If you really like this stuff, go for it, but make sure you realize what your going into. And more importantly.. you CAN be toooo Open. Open up all the way and ANYTHING can enter your mind. If you allow that, you might as well disappear from this world, as you won't be any better off sooner or later when a demon realizes it. Hope no one thinks ill of this (non-believers (of God) out there). If you don't believe, well then what about positive and negative energy.. equate it to that. That could simply be our difference, and not a big one in my book. Just take heed to what I have said, and to what others have as well.

period. gangs make this kind of deal seem easy to leave...

so, if i were you, I would not ignore such things but don't be like 'hey can we talk?!?' its just a bad idea.

i needed a rest badly at age fifteen or so cuz i was having way too much stres physically and the... abilities were simply to heavy sso i prayed to be protected. and i was for years. then I realized i was missing out... so i prayed again and asked for some courage and reopen my eyes.

now i'm 24 and still in the game.

Just dont' want it to sound misleading... If you're new to this stuff and you really like it.. Go for it, but don't think of it as a Game. Guess me an Z are just so used to it now, that we do it just like anything else.. so we can joke with the word. But its not a game, its your life, and your soul. Becareful where you wander. And I'm pretty sure I can speak for Z, When I say that we got your backs if you ever need the help.

In my opinion I would think that the reason you don't see spirits in the hospitals is because that is not the location that means anything to them...it is only the place their body expired. I would think that if something is strong enough for them to "stay" it would be from an emotional tie...be it bad or good. So yes, while they may die in a hospital....if their heart lies in a certain spot that is where they will go back to. Not sure if you get my meaning with that but...
I am big on the idea that, not only on the fact that there are spirits (for lack of a better word) out there but that animals have the ability to "haunt" us as well. My Mother phoned me one night totally freaked out....she was reading her book and felt her cat jump up on the bed and walk along side her leg and lie down. She (engrossed in her book) reached out to pat it and felt nothing.....then she looked up and saw the cat was curled up, fast asleep on a chair beside her bed. She looked down and could see the INDENTATION the "ghost" cat was making.....she could feel it against her leg.
Bizarre.

Yep Minx, I gotcha... Its what I was thinking as well

Man for a while, i wasn't seeing spirits, and it kinda got me me. But I have been seeing them again (mind you, in glances only, as thats just how I see them 99.7% of the time). The first one I saw since the "break" was the one young spirit that likes to "spy" on me. Its not so much spying as... Well you know when you're young and you're curious about someone (be it cause you know something about them, or they're cool, or you just don't know jack about them), and so you watch them from a safe distance? Well there is a spirit that does that. I don't know why, but I get the feeling that the spirit is young. And how funny is this. As I was typing this, I got that gut feeling of someone near. I look at my doorway where s/he usually hides out, and I got a full body chill. Not just a chill and thats it.. but it encompassed me, and .... felt.. 'squiggly' around me. It just made me laugh too. Its neat.

So yeah, When I die, I'm gonna make sure to meet this spirit as well. So many Spirits I have to meet when I pass, I'm sure going to be busy when that happens

Watch your back man... Just kidding!

I've had a couple of instances like that myself, at my house. No one else was home one day, and I was in the shower, when all of the sudden, my 4 year old's musical elmo toy started going off. Funny thing is, it needs to be held and swung to make music. Many other toys had the music or sound go off later on, and they all need some type of coaxing for them to make the noise.
Once in a while I've felt a cold/warm draft in certain areas, take a step and it's gone, step back and it's there.
One time the garage door was open, and no one had been in the garage for days?

I'm not a believer in the paranormal, but these things just can't be justified, or rationalized.

I've heard if you put a crucifix up, the "ghost" will leave you alone in that room, or they'll get pissed off and start doing other things. Either way, I've never tried that.

To not believe in Ghosts... is one thing, but the paranormal, is simply that which.. "can't be justified, or rationalized." That is what paranormal is.

Just clearing that up, but yeah I still know what you mean.

Neat.. I saw a few more spirits at work yesterday. It was weird, as I saw them to be Corpreal at first. I swore they were there, but then they really weren't. I saw people talking... instead of working (grumble grumble), two while ladies and a black guy...... the black guy was eargly listening... but.......... he wasn't really there. It confused me for a moment, but I saw a couple of occurance like that. None were confused or angry, just there and enjoying themselves. Of course, I didn't see any of them (the spirits) working.. so thats probably why.. hehe.

GakFace,

Do you ever see spirits that appear as real people, and don't realize that they are spirits at first?

Boner: yeah thats what happened the other day. I swore it was a person, then realized it was a spirit just listening in to the conversation.

AppleSauceMcGee: Nothing is wrong. They are spirits, and I notice them. Nothing is wrong with that. Just weird how I thought they were real.... as in flesh and bone. Normally I can just.... tell, but this time I thought I saw a person.

If you open your mind and you feel like unwanted things , spirits, evil, are creeping in....I learned from a book I have how to fog your mind ...it also works good for if someone is trying to read your mind....I've used it many times....it works....

If the feeling comes on try and clear your mind and then picture your mind filling with fog and keep thinking of thick fog that nothing can penetrate....it works....well for me anyways...

I've started hearing other people thoughts more and more lately....it's funny cuz I think they say things out loud and then I say "what?" or I answer them....I get these looks from them like "WTF?!!!" I did it to alpha phi the other day....

oh and I'm not sure if it's the same ghost but it's been bumping my computer chair while I'm in it....I think it's a cat and when I turn around nothing. And the guy is back at work ....I saw him today watching me.....I can't talk to him like I used to though cuz I'm around a bunch of ppl and they'd think I was nuts.

Fogging of One's Mind.

Atropos: Yeah, how it showed you how to fog your mind? I had my own sorts of theories that seem to resemble those. To me... I see it as MY MIND.. thus anyone that enters has entered my world. So if I decide to stop... and then just think about earthquakes and tornadoes and floods.. well that spirit trying to get in, now has to deal with all of those problems. You fog your mind, to the extent that they are blind.. and soon realize it isn't worth the effort. Thats an excellent Idea.

Its all just how you visualize it. Me personally, I visualize the "main room" of my mind to be kinda like a wind tunnel. My mind races non-stop day in and day out, so I see it that all those thoughts are different things caught in the wind. I am somehow floating in the center of the room with a giant catcher's glove... what I catch, is the thought that has appeared to at the moment. Well if you incorporate that with a spirit trying to get in.... How do you think they like getting hit by a force stronger than a tornado with tons and tons of objects included..... and all of them directed at him. ....... I have actually had to test it, and it seemed to work.

--On a side note, I've also done the reverse to help a friend find his soul. I helped him to get the visualization, once he did, he no longer had the "picture" of what the devil (or most evil spirit) had set up for him. It took a while, but in the end we succeeded.

damn, wrkime... that is highly disturbing.

I've never had anything that odd happen, but I have had a few odd occurrences in the past. On several occasions I've woken up with stuff in my pockets that I've never seen in my life. Also, I hear voices a lot in my computer room. For almost a month I heard this "tick tick tick" sound that seemed to get louder and louder the farther I got away from where it was coming from, and softer and softer the closer I got. Always the same spot, always the same sound. It was a blank spot too... right in the middle of the floor. Nothing underneath the floor (my computer's in the basement so it's all cement) could possibly make a sound that I could hear up here without it being at least a little muffled. It was very clear. That freaked me the hell out though.
