Strange Dream
 

I make it a habit to interpret my dreams constantly. My dreams usually follow similar patterns and have common themes but the one I had last night was a first.

My girlfriend showed up with our baby. I didnt remember her being pregnant but I knew the kid was mine so it was cool. So I looked at the kid and it was not cute at all. It looked like one of those joke emails were they take two peoples faces and try to put them together. The most prevalent thought in my head was that this kid had exaggerations of all of my girls imperfections, then I woke up.

I dont believe this dream is about my girlfriend per se, perhaps it has more to do with my orientation to relationships or perhaps its an external representation of internal thoughts or criticism. Any dream interpretation buffs out there?

I am no dream-analysis buff, but sounds like you have a grasp of what it means. It can show some deep-down fears and expectations of people, also frustrations of not having something go your way, just perfectly the way you want it to be. Instead your eyes (mind) are immediately drawn to "imperfections" and you can't steer away from the "imperfection" in a situation. What may be going on in your life right now that may resemble such a description?

the thing about dream interpretation is that it really comes down to what the dream means to YOU. no other person can really interpret it but yourself. i can give some ideas...

dreams in itself are just cues.. images.. that are meaningless, unless you put meaning there. such as dream interpretation.

this dream could be metaphorical to how you view relationships, as you said. maybe you're not ready to fully commit and fear knowing, loving and accepting a person's dark side/imperfections.. as well as showing your own.

I had a dream the other night that Episode III was out and nobody was going to see it because it sucked so bad. Oh and it was a musical, which is the reason it sucked. Like everyone was going to see it expecting it to be all bad-ass and then Anakin breaks out into song, and everyone's like WTF is this crap?!?!

I wonder what the dream interpreters would make of this one.

I really did have this dream. I just wanted to share.

HAHAHA. You may turn out to be psychic. I predict that episode 3 will suck very badly.
