Did I meet a ghost?
A friend and I were hitching late one night when an old New Yorker with a woman driving pulled over. We ran up to the car and climbed in and told her where we were going. she never looked at us or said a word she simply pulled out and started going in our direction. We tried several times to engage her in conversation( she was kinda cute) but she never responded at all.
About half way to my buddy's house, she pulled into a gas station( closed) and stopped. after a few minutes of just sitting there we climbed out and thanked her for the ride. She never turned her head she just pulled out and went back the way we had just come. we were wayyyyy wierded out. so wadda you think? was she a ghost or just really baked :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:    |
I don't really see why she would be a ghost, lol. Maybe she just didn't want to trust you. Heh.

"Tell em , Large Marge sent ya..."

I have a ghost called "Mrs Mac" at work. She plays games all the time with us and the patrons. She isnt manevolant, just playful. It could of been a ghost. If you meet her again ask her. I know Mrs Mac likes being talked to. Maybe your ghost does too.
|
She could have been ghost, but it also looks like she has found the perfect way to help people out without having people kill her. Lots of people nowadays are too afraid to pick up a hitchhiker... You two were feeling creeped out. So she reversed the creepy feeling upon you two... I think she's a genius :) (or maybe it was just a man in drag.. that would explain why "she" didn't turn around or speak :D)
LunchBox, how does Mrs. Mac play games? |
sounds like a weird ass girl. interesting, either way.
|
I'm going to say it's the reverse creep-out effect.
|
Maybe she's an antisocial mute? Just kidding
If it was in fact a ghost, ask around in your town about any story like that (older residents, if they're willing, are a wealth of knowledge about your town, especially if you're in a small one, or you might even want to try asking around online, there are probably messageboards for your area.). Be sure to let us know if you find anything out. |
It is the exact opposite of the hitchhiker story.
|
I think she was telepathic and you just couldn't hear what she was trying to say. Now, my hitch hiker story.... that is intersting....
|
I think she was prolly fucked on up drugs of some kind.

Mrs Mac likes to move things. She turns the TV on and off. Just the other day a patron was washing his hands in the toilet. His beer drink (non alcoholic) was sitting on the bench. It suddenly went flying off and hit the wall. the man was dead sober and after this epsiode quite white. One time I came into work and I was reading the reception report book. My bos came up to me and asked me something. I answered and when i looked back down the book was gone. Im thinking I must of put it back or somehting and forgot. Im walking back and forth looking everywhere for it. No where to be seen. I asked the boss if she had moved it. She didnt. I ended up having everyone looking for it. After about 20 minutes it was over behond a computer. The book never gets put there and none of us had gone near the computer since i was in the office. She also likes to give a flash out of the corner of your eye of what she lloks like. As soon as you turn she is gone. One of our cleaners refuses to be in any room by herself because she is so scared of Mrs Mac. You also hear footsteps upstairs when you are the only person in the building. There is more but I couldnt be bothered going into it. I never believed in ghosts until I came to work at this place. |
Shoulda gotten the license plate number.

Hehehehehehe. I meant washing his hands in the toilets. Its amazing how the absence of a single letter can change the meaning of an entire sentence. |
On a warm summers evening, on a train bound for no where, I... wait a sec, not me, never mind.

Jou probably just met a weirdo.
|
I don't think it was a ghost. Probably just someone who wanted to be nice but at the same time was afraid you were a rapist or something.
|
We were attractive, well dressed young men who simply tried to engage the lady in conversation whilst she drove us towards our destination. She on the other hand was creepy as hell.
