Missing nuclear bomb ?

Have you heard about the plane that transported nuclear bombs across the USA ?
It appears that someone is missing one. That is if you believe this "alternative news" or conspiracy site : http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin...gi?read=109306
They say that the search for Steve Fossett is in fact a search for a missing nuke, because there are too many military forces involved
Also the mass media seems unsure about the number of bombs the plane was carrying :

Five nukes : http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6980204.stm
Quote:

It follows reports in the Army Times that five missiles were unaccounted for during the three-hour flight from North Dakota to Louisiana.
Six nukes : http://edition.cnn.com/2007/US/09/05...kes/index.html
Quote:

Six nuclear warheads on cruise missiles were mistakenly carried on a flight from North Dakota to Louisiana last week, prompting a major investigation, military officials have confirmed.
Fox News also said 5 and then 6 :
When dealing with nukes to count them wrong is a big thing :)

I just found another site. It says that all 5 nukes - they say there were 5, were moved with presidential authorization.
It makes more sense, I think nuclear missiles don't just lie around a military base, and some people put them on a plane by mistake

http://www.halturnershow.com/

Quote:

Military investigators have confirmed to The Hal Turner Show that
President Bush's personal Presidential authorization code authorized
the removal of five 150 kiloton nuclear warheads from their secure
nuclear storage safes.

Those Investigators also confirmed that the cruise missiles in which
those warheads were placed, were mounted on the wings of the B-52
and not placed in the belly of the plane with other missiles headed
for decommissioning.

When those nuclear cruise missiles arrived at Barksdale AFB,
Investigators say plans were made to move those warheads off the
base, allowing them to be used for what was to be a massive,
nuclear "terrorist" strike against five U.S. cities. They speculate
the attacks would have been blamed on AL-Qaida and used as an excuse
to impose Martial Law in the U.S.

Government officials are scrambling to silence this investigation
becuase it proves definitively that President George W. Bush was
personally complicit in planning terrorist attacks against his own
country for the purpose of declaring Martial law, merging the United
States with other countries after we've been "crippled" by massive
nuclear attacks, implementing "one world government" to "prevent
anything like this from ever happening again" and, of course,
remaining in power forever as absolute Dictator.

Elements inside the U.S. Military are aggressively seeking to arrest
President Bush while top Brass in the military is doing everything
possible to quash the crisis.
I found another story here, this time from a more respectable source. This newspaper says the nukes were supposed to be used against Iran :
http://www.agoracosmopolitan.com/hom.../07/01751.html
Quote:

Consequently, there is considerable circumstantial evidence to argue that the nuclear armed B-52 was part of an apparent covert operation, outside the regular chain of constitutional military command. The alleged authority responsible for this was Vice President Cheney. He very likely used the Secret Service to take charge of a contrived National Special Security Event involving a nuclear armed B-52 that would be flown from Minot AFB. The B-52 was directed to Barksdale Air Force base where it would have conducted a covert mission to the Middle East involving the detonation of one or more nuclear weapons most likely in or in the vicinity of Iran. This could either have occurred during a conventional military strike against Iran, or a False Flag operation in the Persian Gulf region.
Last time nuclear weapons were transported by air was in 1968. And these nukes were mounted on the wings of the plane, not in some boxes. Not an easy mistake to make.

Army Times said the missiles were to be decommissioned but were mistakenly mounted on the bomber's wings.

Huh?

Better double check that.

pai mei 09-11-2007 06:54 AM

They say that because of some accidents transports were made with trucks since then

respectable source eh?

I am aware of several Dull Sword and Bent Spear incidents involving aircraft and missle systems. I am unaware, however, of any incidents involving overland transportation of any nuclear weapons system. Either by rail, or by truck. That is not to say that I could not be mistaken. And, although accidents involving nuclear weapons systems, have occured, none have ever resulted in a nuclear yield. There are simply to many safeguards in place.

What I am saying is that the statement that the last time nuclear weapons were transported by air was in 1968, is patently false.

Escaped Nuclear Bomb?

America - Fuck Yeah!

Another theory now :
The fact that the bombs were meant for Iran is what the army wants the people to believe, talk about and feel good that the bombs were stopped. That is why the army published what happened in their newspaper , usually they keep it secret

What really happened is that the plane took off with 6 and landed with 5, or something like this, and they miss 1 bomb.

This theory comes from here : http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread302187/pg1

I hope they find Steve Fossett.
I don't know what really to believe right now, just looking at all the stories around

Fortunately the US military is managing bombs, not FOX News. The news gets details wrong all the time, especially late breaking news about issues that are normally hush-hush, like movements of nuclear weapons.

Folks, the news media makes mistakes. Inconsistant details in news stories does not a conspiracy make.

No one loads a nuclear bomb onto an aircraft by accident. They weren't being transported either.

If you want to read a piece on this that seems plausible, but almost too shocking to believe, read: Command Override
