It's as if what we were experiencing as TFP was like witnessing a shadow on a cave wall.

Mental problem, you say Doc?
Nah, 'tis my 'mental solution' to work, relationships, friendships, and the like. You say it's killing me inside? Well, dying happy is always superior to living bored.

Wow, thanks very much for the all too-surreal video Sticky.
I had no idea as the video was halfway finished that there was actually music playing in the background, let alone eventually discover that it was actually meant to be that way, being a music video. Instant favorite. Now my posting this feels less genuine afterwards. Will, I think I see what you're getting at.

If it were, I think my mind would create people who I was more amiable with. I seek external agreement, and I have a hard time believing that my brain would actively create people who piss me off so much.
That, and it wouldn't be creative enough to make the variability of personality that we have here. Like living on a boat, for example. My brain would've never thought of that.

If this message board was part of my mind, I would be rather pleased to know I can have so many conversations with myself about different subjects and not even know about it. The music video posted earlier was rather depressing and I was waiting for a better ending. Where is the guy going to sleep? |
