Ghost sighting

This didn't happen to me, but my brother when he was about 5. At this stage I think I wasn't even crawling, so I can't comment.

It took place in the kitchen of the house we were living in at the time. It was one of the first houses ever built in the area, so it was pretty old (we are talking mid 1800s I think).

He had woken up early one morning when it was still dark and went into the kitchen to get a drink. As he walked in, he saw a little girl standing in the middle of the kitchen wearing period costume (ie what would be worn in the 1800s by a little girl). She turned to him, smiled turned away, and proceeded to walk out of the kitchen... through the wall...

This of coursed freaked him out, and he just stood there screaming. My parents came running and asked him what happened, and he told them (between screams). Of course, they were sceptical, but to this day, it has been a good story to tell...

Might have been sleepwalking, or half asleep and his mind made up shit because he probably had a fear of seeing a ghost already. Though you never know....

True, but from memory, one thing that did surprise my parents was just how accurately he was able to describe how she looked (after he had stopped screaming that is).

My moms and her sisters living out in ohklohoma would talk to and play with this little girl when they were really young (none of them past 4) only when they were half asleep. When they woke up they oculdn't see her anymore. Having never mentioned it for many years, out of the blue one of the kids of my moms sister started talking about her imaginary friend named *the same name I can't remember*

ghosts

I grew up in an old house where a lot of stange things would happen. The dishes would raddle sometimes violently and the heavy basement door would open and close by itself. One time i was about 8 or so and i was in the kitchen saying good nite to my mom and i turned around to walk to my room and there was a little boy about 5 years old standing there just looking at me. He had on a black suit with a black tie and had a blonde hair in a bowl cut. I was so scared i stopped in midsentence and froze. He was sort of see through yet i could still make out his facial feautures and clothing very clearly.
Then when i was 14 I came out of the bathroom and in the living room there was a tall man standing there in a black suit and a black hat. It looked like he was from the 1800 because he didnt have a modern tie on it was sort of like a small blask string ties in a loose bow around his collar. the collar was a crew neck. He was old and had a thick gray beard. I froze in fear. He was gone in an instant. again he was transparent but at the same time not foggy. i could make out the wrinles in his face and the details of his simple suit.

I was playing poker at a friends house one afternoon. The phone rang and my buddy's mom answered. She said it was for me. I picked it up, and to my suprise was talking to my grandmother. I was suprised because she had been hospitalized with terminal lung cancer and the last time I had seen her (a day or two before) was comatose. It was about 4:30 or so in the afternoon.

We spoke and she said, "I just wanted you to know I am all right."

I said "I'm glad you're OK Grandma. I love you. I'll come see you tomorrow."

She said, "Don't worry about me sweetheart. I love you too."

She rang off. About a half hour later my mom called. Grandma had passed away at 4:05. When we talked, she'd been dead for about 25 minutes...

I have never forgotten that my grandma called me, apparently from heaven. Noone else has ever said anything....
