Pandora
Have any of you guys heard of pandora? www.pandora.com. The site lets you put in a band or a song that you like then makes a custom "station" of songs that you can listen to and rate to make the station more to your tastes. It seems to have a pretty extensive library backing it too. Pretty sweet.
Only thing that's irked me so far is it bugs you for a free registration after a while and only allows you to skip only a certain amount of songs an hour (probably a legal thing though). I've been playing with it for about a day and I've already got a couple bands I really like out of it. Give it a shot!

I just found out about this today. So far it seems really cool, I havn't heard anything new yet but its creates like a radio station for very spicific types of music.

you can do the same exact thing at yahoo music. The more you rate, the better it gets at playing what you like. The only problem i've found is that if you listen to indie type stuff, it plays some of the most random, tiny, obscure indie acts that might not even sound like what you listen to, but it just happens to lump into the "indie" category. I find that I wind up skipping a whole lot of the randomness that pops up, but when it hits, it plays good stuff. Pretty cool idea.
