Big Boi's Purple Ribbon - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I don't know if anyone's heard about this, but under Virgin, Big Boi of Outkast fame started up a new label called Purple Ribbon. He immediately signed Bubba Sparxxx and Killer Mike. And I believe that he's either aquired or is in negotiations to get the whole Goodie Mob back together on his label. Once again, I'm not sure if anyone else is as excited as i am that the WHOLE Dungeon Family is getting back together thanks to Big Boi. Concrete, Rock G-Rock, Cool Breeze, only a few are missing. the only drawback to all this is the lack of news that comes out of the Dirty South movement. Killer Mike's sophomore CD was supposed to come out Aug 30, there's been no word of release or date pushed back. Bubba's is supposed to come in oct. but when? I'm hoping that this whole thing doesn't get swept under the carpet, because it really is a big deal, when such a large Family of artists that has revolutionized hip hop in the past reunites to take the game back. oh yeah!

anyway, if anyone has any release dates, or simply cares about whats going on and wants to give me a hell yeah. You know how to do it, i'd appreciate it.

Edit** Just found out that Bubba Sparxxx's - Space Mountain comes out 11/22/05
