a-HA in New York City
My FAVORITE band ever is coming to US soil.
The so-called one hit wonder group is having their first US concert since the mid 80's. They are anything BUT one hit wonders. They have seven albums with several other compilation albums and singles to their credit. Their music is excellent. They are playing a small venue in NYC called Irving Plaza. http://www.irvingplaza.com I missed them the first time around...I now have tickets and I am crossing my fingers that more venues are added in the coming weeks. Ticketmaster is selling tickets online or you can get them in person at Irving Plaza. Tickets are only $30 and the place is so intimate, you could just reach up and touch the guys... ...a dream come true. If anybody wants to talk a-Ha, just let me know. I'd love to see some TFPers at the concert too!

I've only heard "Take on Me," which is a great song. The video is awsome too. I don't know if I would see them for one song though, but thats really all I've heard.

It is such a shame that they were sold in this country that way...Take On Me is not even close to being their best song. Their record label did them and American fans a great disservice in the way a-Ha was promoted.
