Critique!
I would be most appreciative if forum members listened to this and posted their opinions/critiques.
Forewarning: It's electronic (I haven't felt the urge to figure out what subgenre it fits into). Thanks in advance!

well the into has a cool little groove but as it coninues on the chord structure is a bit droaning and repetitive especially for an electronic song it just doesn't seem to change that much. it gets better towards the end. This song is really relaxing though so yeah its pretty cool i really like the straight beat it goes into towards the end i kinda wish there was more of that and the climax of the song was stronger and a bit sooner as well but other than that its a pretty cool song. what you use to make it? (im just assuming you made it)

I enjoyed listening to the song, and I'm a big fan of electronic music. I think if there was a little more variety, and maybe a stronger bass beat, the song would be more effective, but, as jaypc2 said, it was relaxing to listen to. Keep making music, the more you make the more you learn.

I made the song with Fruity Loops.
It's actually a work in progress ... jaypc2: "i really like the straight beat it goes into towards the end" you may have unintentionally caused this song to be even better! I'm taking the link down for the moment, I'm uploading the new version.

I like it. It is super lax and has a good melodic feel to it. I think that the area that needs to be worked on is seperating the sounds so it isnt so droney. To do this, I would suggest brightening your claps (possibly even bring in some brighter hi hats) and working on getting your bass/pads/kick out of the same frequency range. I think you might also benefit from using different samples (or vst's). Good work though and keep it up. One question though you mean fl studio not fruity loops right?

Wah! My fiance and I have both fiddled with Fruityloops.
Anyway, critique: you should definitely work on a faster beat. Though it is relaxing, I found myself wanting it to quicken. Very excellent quality though for Fruityloops. |

I think I'm just going to have more than one version of this song when I'm done with it
