Finally got a copy of The Grey Album

And I am completely blown away by it. I was wondering what other people's opinion on it are. Does everyone know what it is? If you do, have you heard it?

I have to agree. It's one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. It's a damn shame the RIAA won't ever let it out.

First off, it's available (free, obviously) at Banned Music, using BitTorrent. Also there is the Double Black Album, which is mixed with Metallica.

It didn't do anything for me. I like mashups in general, but I prefer non-hiphop mashups, and I've never listened to Jay-Z otherwise, so I didn't have anything to connect to.

it's well done for what it is. However, I can't stand Jay-Z, and, therefore, can't stand listening to the Grey Album, regardless of how good the remixing is.

I'm a huge Beatles fan, so I thought I'd check it out. Never really considered myself a fan of Jay-Z, but after listening to the album, he kind of grew on me. I would highly recommend it to everyone out there.

I mostly listened as a beatle fan, but I was suprised by a couple, I overall liked it despite my general distaste for hip-hop

The grey album is awesome, danger mouse not only has a cool name, but he is master of mash ups. This album really shits on that poo Jay-z/linkin park thing, it really is a shame it isn't made availabe to the public.
