A very cool band name.

Haven't heard them yet but if they are remotely as good as their band name is cool then this should be something.

Post the best/coolset band name you know here.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, I forgot the actual name

It's: And you will know us by the trail of dead.

Best band names: Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, The Used, Okgo, Psychostick (just 'cause its funny), The New Pornographers, Crash Test Dummies, Savage Garden.

Two of my favourite bands with the worst names ever: Goo Goo Dolls, and Hoobastank

I really hope not. We can start a band called "+TBA" and go on the "Nonsensical flyer tour."

I played in a ska band called "The Ralph Wiggum Allstars" at the tender age of 14. I've still yet to live it down.
Edit - Also i was in a short-lived metal band called "Bury Her in the Desert"... i liked that name, but i came up with it.

Ha. I had a ska band as well called SPAM (Six Psychos and Matt). Worst band ever. I think we lasted like 3 practices.

I don't know any funny named bands myself, but there is a great list of fake bands
that Dave Barry came up with over the years, and I believe it's posted somewhere on
his Official Website. Some are quite humorous and really should be band names.

but, its coolest if you get the reference.

Here are the names of some bands I've played in (in order of coolness):
Mere Image (you have to say it aloud)
Suasage Act (the actual name started out as Saucy Jack, which we stole from Spinal Tap. Over time, band names tend to deconstruct).
Sucking Wind (the actual name was Second Wind, but the bass player and I preferred this alternate name)
3-D Bob (there were three of us, each of us with a name that started with "D" and none of us with "Bob" anywhere in our names. Most people screwed it up and called us Triple D instead)
