We, the undersigned, are disgusted with Ashlee Simpson's horrible singing and hereby ask her to stop. Stop recording, touring, modeling and performing. We do not wish to see her again.

She cannot match the sound of her voice that can be found on her CDs, when she sings live. She simply yells the words (sometimes the wrong ones) into the mic.

We are so sickened by her "performing" that we are taking this opportunity to demand that she stop.

Also, these petitions and threads around here and whatever else people use to complain just keeps the media machine on her going. If you completely ignore her vary existence she will eventually fade away.

there is a reason the saying "There's no such thing as bad publicity" was coined. If we all just ignore the stupid girl and pretend she doesn't exist, she'll fade away into obscurity and we'll get our wish. Signing petitions and such will only make her more popular or want to do more stuff... *SCARY!*

I don't agree with this petition. personally I think she is slowly killing this pop phase we're in and should keep up the good work!

I'm the 9018 to sign weehoo! I don't sign many petitions but this one is true to my heart :o

She seems really nice on her show, all 1 episodes I saw of it. But damn, she can't sing. For real. She just can't. She likes a twinge of "girliness" or something in her voice, something that's just not there. You can't do an in-between like that, it just makes it sound bad, especially live. Oh well.

I couldn't bring myself to sign that in good conscience. She gets enough bad reviews and opinions as it is without me adding to it. I mean, it's not like she's a BAD person. Sure, a bit ignorant, not the brightest crayon in the light socket, kind of a bad singer, doesn't write her songs, et cetera, but not a bad person.

You'd be better off by showing a lack of interest in all that she does than going out of your way to generate negative publicity for her. Surely she might not be the greatest performer of all time but not only are you adding to her record sales and thus making sure that more people hear her music - you're all starting to sound just as annoying as her.

Your negative sentiments won't be nearly enough to decrease her record sales so why add to the noise pollution?
