Scott Weiland Arrested (again)
http://www.kron4.com/Global/story.asp?S=1283953
Scott Weiland arrested again for supposed narcotics posession. I hope it was something meaningless like pot rather than heroin/coke. Would be really sad to see him in jail again |

I hope it turns out to be nothing, would be a shame, he suffers a lot from impulse and negative desires...
"sorry. I feel sorry for anyone addicted, but after rehab twice i just don't care. shape up or ship out... gees." A) Do you feel sorry for them or do you pity them? B) If you haven't dealt with addiction, I will excused the 'twice' comment.

Y'know, I really wish Scott could keep it together. I really liked the single from "12 Bar Blues" I heard ("Barbarella"), and I was really interested in hearing him do a few more solo things. Then, when I'd heard he would front Reloaded, I was ecstatic. I think he'll be a good fit there.
But only if he can keep it together. I feel pressured in MY life; I can't imagine how he feels in his. I'm crossing my fingers, though. |

That's a damn shame... I remember seeing him live under the Scott Weiland name (rather than STP) just a few days before he got hauled in the first time, and it was really terrible. You could tell that he was totally out of it. Then, I saw him with STP months later, when he was clean, and he was INCREDIBLE. They were opening for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and their performance was so good that it made it seem like the Peppers should have been the opener. Not to say that RHCP weren't good, they were excellent, but STP were SO incredibly good that they made RHCP seem weak in comparison. I second the hope that it wasn't any hardcore drugs like heroin or cocaine, because it would be a shame for him to get in a rut like he was before. I just hope that whatever it is, he cleans up quick and gets back with STP.

I've dealt with nicotene addiction, and it's nowhere near the same but not fun. However, this guy is singlehandedly keeping Betty Ford in business. He has officially earned his asshat in my book.

as for a. i pity people who have never had the chance to sober up and get better. its like Dave Mustang years ago. he just will not quit. he's been in rehab, what, 6 times? i have been addicted to substance and got off. i still crave and i still get occasional shiver/sweats at times. i'm not saying its easy. its heroin addiction looks to be almost impossible. but its not. i have no pity for anybody who repeatedly fucks up. the time for pity is over. now he just needs to grow the fuck up, get clean and move away from his old friends and rock life. if he doesn't, he'll die. life has been great to him. now its time for him to move on. |

Whoa, if you've been through it, you would know that not everybody gets it right away or for awhile. If you had been a part of a program, do they close their doors or meetings to those who want to change? Does that personal always get what they attempt.
You are choosing the word 'pity' Do mentors pity those they teach?

as long as people get six or more chances to get cleaned up and then get a 'aww poor baby' from people like you they will NEVER get clean.
my last post on this thread. its just that sometimes you have to quit. will the drugs go away? no . he can move, though. |
