BLACKFOOT REUNION.
 

Yee ha, word has reached the U.K. that survern legends BLACKFOOT are getting together for a tour in the U.S. this fall, all be it without Rick The Rattlesnake Medlocke in charge. I'm gonna be in Florida late Sept early Oct, and was hoping they would be doing some local gigs before taking on the rest of the country. But I can't seem to find anything out. If any of you guys 'n' gals in the U.S. hear anything could you gimme a shout. Thanx. :thumbsup:

well, i always thunk that blackfoot was medlocke. like thin lizzy was phil lynott. don´t make a lotta sense to reform a band with no original members. last i heard, mr. medlocke was playing with a lynard skynard featuring 0 original members which were all being sued for using a name which they shoulda left undirtied. i liked blackfoot. seen em 3 times. Please forgive me if i can´t raise the same enthusiasm.
why not try something new? lotsa great new shit out there that has the same vibe.

Pedro padilla, suggest you do a bit more homework. Jackson, Greg and Charlie constitute three quarters of the band and Bobby Barth was once a full time member.
As for Lynyrd Skynyrd, There are Two surviving members of the classic line up, and besides Ricky Medlocke was a member before 73 playing drums and even lead vocals on one song.

yeah, you´re right. i´m ignorant. still don´t like it much though. as for lynard skynard, shame on them. might as well reform the beatles. still 2 left standing. The doors reunion was a great plan as well. NY dolls? MC5? shit, theres still a ramone or two also. beat on the dead horse with a baseball bat ooh yeah.
