Dave Matthews Band?
 

I'm new to this forum and I really like it. Work goes by much fast now that i hvae this forum and ASTB to read. I was just curious as to see how many on this board are fans?

i think they're decent musicians. however, the music isn't my cup of tea.

I like em. they do a great live show

I like them a lot - too bad they never stop by in Denmark :|

I got into them late, though the only CD's I own are the Central Park Concert and Dave's solo album "Some Devil"

There always seems to be trouble with DMB in Hartford.

I like them a lot. I've got a few CD's, love the one with Dave and Tim Renolds.

I've never been to any of their shows, although they come to my area for usually 2 shows each summer. From what I've heard they go on really long extended riffs, and that tends to annoy me. Play a song and then get on with the next one. But people tend to like that about their shows.

Can't stand their music and really don't understand what turns people onto them. Pretty generic if you ask me.

Meh, there is nothing about them that stands out. Good musicians though and the poetry is decent enough.

I didn't like them at first but after I went to a show, I'm a fan. The shows were great. I like the live Bonaroo CD's that are out..with Dave,Tim Reynolds, and Trey Anastacio.

damn rights they do........i've seen him twice now and he kicked the whole crowds asses both times. :thumbsup:

Such an amazing band. I'm a diehard fan. I've seen em umm.....15 times now? I own all the CDs and DVDs too.

I love Dave's music. I totally adore the Crash video, when I see that I see beauty.

Kinda like a visual and audio representation of a female for me. Beautiful, stoic...yes just with so much bluriness where I can't understand it completely without having to fill the lines myself or just watching it in awe.

I have to say i understand some dont like the band but i dont understand their reasons...I tend to like all music and, I am open to anyhing, but as much as I did hate DMB i am now insanely addicted to their music. I can't see how anybody can say they are not very good together and some of the best muscians of this time

I enjoy them.. not constantly (I'm not as dedicated as some of the people here hehe), but every now and then I throw on the cds I have and enjoy them.

Pretty much my exact thoughts. I find thier music dull and non-enjoyable.

I've been a fan sense I heard uttad. Seen them live too.

I've been a long time fan of Dave but I've only been to one show of theres. I have quite a few of his / their CD's and I believe my favorite is Dave and Tim Live at Luther College. The live performances are the best!

I enjoy their music quite a bit. He's in a bit of trouble though since his tour bus decided to evacuate their septic system over a chicago bridge...unfortunately at the bottom of the bridge was an open air tour boat which ended up having a really "shitty" day. Local officals are seeking a $70,000 payment from the band to "clean-up" the matter.
