New Kenny Wayne Shepherd

For those of you who are blues/rock enthusasists, The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band is at it again.

Just released this week are two new singles on their website. www.kwsband.com . Guitarist, Kenny Wayne Shepherd has taken over singing lead vocals on some songs. While old Lead singer, Noah Hunt still sticks around to sing lead too.

I've been listening to Kenny for *years*, and I'm pretty darn excited. The new singles are excellent, although different from his usual stuff.

Anyone else around here like Kenny!?

I have seen KWSB twice now, both times were awesome. It's quite obvious from his style, but did you know that he was a Stevie Ray Vaughn protoge? Stevie took him on tour when he was a little kid and taught him everything he knows.

Glad you posted this. I didn't know he had any new stuff out. I saw an interview with him and he said he was going to start singing more of the songs. I'll have to go check those out. Thanks

edit:
Damn, you didn't lie when you said it was different than his other stuff. Different but good!

Perripken......are you sure about that Stevie taking him on tour stuff? I'm a big fan of both and have never heard or read anything like that.

Yeah Perripken, I don't think that ever happened. I think what you're thinking of is when Stevie brought a little KWS up on stage with him to watch the show from there, I don't think he ever went on tour with him nor did SRV personally teach him anything.

Kenny's site said that the new CD should be out in October. Here's to hoping.

He's fantastic. I love Noah's voice, but Kenny's is a close second.
