The only band I really listen to that I would consider metal is Opeth. I'm more of a prog kinda guy, so the folk/prog influences in Opeth's work really grabbed me.

I listen to so many metal bands I would take up too much space listing them. So I'll just give you my fav bands of the moment.

Epic symphonic/operatic power metal is definitely at the top of my list.
Nightwish Blind Guardian Rhapsody Symphony X Iced Earth I'm kind of alternating between that stuff and punk for the moment. I won't waste anyone's time by listing that stuff. |
