Mixers
Can anyone recommend a good mixer (or a device of some kind) that can do these things?
1. Somewhere I can plug a guitar in. 2 somewheres would be nice. 2. Output both in stereo (so you could hook the mixer up to some monitor speakers) and in mono (to hook the mixer up to your amp) Effects would be nice. Im not really an expert on all this mixer-recording stuff. Basically I want to hook up my guitar to the mixer, and then the mixer can output the sound to both some monitor speakers and my guitar amp. Then with the mixer I could change the sound a litttle bit. Any corrections, suggestions, and explanations would be appreciated |

Korg G3
You could get yourself a cheap effects pedal (well, its kinda old, so its cheap now). Something like the Korg G3. Here's some cheap ones on eBay. I have one that I bought long ago. It has a guitar in, stereo headphones out, a regular left-right stereo out which you can connect to a stereo amplifier or a mono amp.
As for effects, the chorus, flange, delay, reverb are fine imho, the distortion I found mediocre, so if you want nice distortion you could put a Boss pedal in between your guitar and G3. See Google for more info on the Korg G3. Cheers. |
