how many people here, listen to cake. i love them, they are one of my fave. band. i have all there CD's and if they would tour. i would do any thing in my power to see them

I don't see any indication of that on the web site. I think Cake is a truely awesome band, comparable to the Talking Heads and Pink Floyd. I believe Comfort Eagle is one of the best whole albums ever produced, and may well one day be classed with such as Dark Side of the Moon and Aqualung. Not every song on it is equally good, but each is in exactly the right setting to make it the best that it can be.

I will always have a soft spot for Cake in my heart.

The older I get, the more I like them. It's like their music is so natural, really interesting drums and guitar and bass, and his voice is really profound. Add in a great trumpet player, and then some occasional weird keyboard stuff. I guess when you think about it, Talking Heads is a pretty good comparison! My only problem with Cake is that they don't tour enough, and I need a concert dvd!

Maybe we should list a few of our favorite songs for people who want to download them.
