Making a "laid back" R&B mix.. Seeking song recommendations.
Hiya everyone.
After finishing up a mix recently, I came across a few songs that were really laid back, and relaxing.. Given the nature of the mix, they were R&B, and I then came up with the idea to make an entire CD of these types of songs. Basically, I am just looking for suggestions of songs that are relaxing, laid back... Good "chill" music. The songs that I came across and was "inspired" by were Desree - "You Gotta Be" and K-Ci and JoJo - "All My Life." If you have any songs that you consider to be really relaxing and laid back, please post them here. They don't have to be R&B; I just find slow R&B with the right voices to be really relaxing.. But such songs certainly aren't limited to that genre. Ideally, I'd like to create an all R&B "laid back" CD, but I don't want to be too limiting in what I am requesting.. So suggest away. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies!
Do you have any R&B suggestions? I'd like to include some R&B also, to mix it up.. Keep the suggestions coming, I appreciate them.

I'm finding it hard to envision a lot of the tracks being listed as "Laid Back"... But whatever -
Donnie - "Do You Know?" (from the GREAT album "The Colored Section") Other exceptional tracks from the same album are "Heaven Sent" and "Turn Around". Vikter Duplaix - "Lust for Life" - He is a very capable producer for many-a-good/great r&b and soul singers out here in the states. Over seas, he branches out into a bit of club and electronic music. Whatever the case, his 2 part album "International Affairs Vol.1" and "Vol.2" are good pieces of work.
