if you guys havent heard of Jack Johnson, he was originally a prodigy child surfer way back in the day when a freakish accident caused him to be severly disfigured. after plastic surgery he decided to just film surfers. during that time he picked up a guitar and play music that he felt portrayed the surfing mood....

and his music is AMAZING!! like i said in the subject post, if you like ben harper, youll love jack johnson.

he has 2 albums out:
1. brushfire fairytales
2. on and on <== just released today.

i suggest buying the albums or at least download his songs. bubble toes, flake, the news, rodeo clowns, and taylor are just some of my favorite songs...check em out.

if anyones heard of him before, help me promote one of the best musicians out there today.

My younger sisters dig him. His music is enjoyable. I find his name troublesome, though, and always think it's John Jackson.

He's great. A friend turned me onto him and he's great just to sit back and relax to. I'd definitely recommend getting his Brushfire Fairytales CD.

Oh, and for my fave songs of his: Bubbletoes, Flake, News, Rodeo Clowns, It's All Understood.

Good stuff, but he's hardly unknown, just find a 15 year old girl and ask about him, he gets played on those Britney Spears stations, which is a shame.

Jack Johnson is the shiznit.. for shizzle, dizzle! He and Ben Harper are going on tour together this summer.

I love his CD for it's mellow, kicked back melodies.

Bubble Toes is the bomb.

I liked Brushside Fairytales. I think his new one sucks though.
