As a Norwegian, most stuff is foreign-languaged to me :D
Some non-English stuff: Sigur Rós, Icelandic group I can fully and without hesitation give both Ágætis Byrjun and ( ) my warmest reccomendations. Samples: http://www.vortex.is/festival/mp3/si..._untitled8.mp3 http://www.vortex.is/festival/mp3/staralfur.mp3 http://www.vortex.is/festival/mp3/olsenolsen.mp3 http://www.drrnwbb.com/sigur-ros/vidrarvel.mp3 http://www.gella.is/gunni/sigur_ros_untitled4.mp3 Other than that, we have Gåte - Snåle mi jente Gåte - Statt opp (Maggeduliadei) Gåte - Litle fuglen Lacuna Coil - Comalies Any and all Ulver ;) |
Cielito Lindo, the traditional Latin tune, especially the old Pedro Infante version is definitely one of my faves. If you understand the lyrics, they're beautiful! But the song is great even if you have no idea what's being said.
You probably recognize this song to hear it too, even if you didn't know what it was called. |
Sigur Ros - Well, it's half Icelandic and half gibberish, but it sure as hell ain't English, so it counts in my book
|
Andrea Bocelli's Le Misere - It just floored me the first time I heard it, even though I don't know Italian well enough to understand the whole thing. Still gets me every time
