 First albums I ever had... Winnie the Pooh & Tigger, Too and some Chip 'N Dale record.  Xmas presents when I was 3 or 4.  I still have both. First album I had when I liked music... Barbra Streisand's GH vol. 2. Given to me by my parents not long after I got my first turntable...at 8 or so. Still have it.  My dad bought me my first CD, which was Puff Daddy and the Bad Boy Family: No Way Out. He just knew I was into rap, so he bought it. Now, I was like 12 or 13 or something, but up until this point, I had just listened to my dads stuff, The Beatles, The Stones, Springsteen, this is the stuff I grew up on.  First album I BOUGHT was Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole. I was really into electronica and techno in those angsty highschool days (eh...). :D Before that I sustained myself on my dad's CD collection - he has a huge collection of classic rock stuff - Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, etc. Hell, even today I often find myself listening to them. I don't remember listening to the Chemical Brothers for a looong time now. |

Oingo Boingo "Only a Lad" First Album : Men at Work "Business As Usual" First CD(s) Much later.... These were a single purchase as I recall 1: The Cure "Disintegration" 2: Erasure "Wonderland" 3: Depeche Mode "People Are People" I remember not really getting into disintegration at the time, it got shelved for a couple of years... I came back to it and WOW !!!! I couldn't believe how good it was (and still is) |

 sheeze... that is tough.. my mother turned me on to the beatles.. so I had revolver, and one other.. an old one with them all sitting on chairs with umbrellas over their heads.. .. no rain however....heh. I had a steely dan as well.. aja I had some kids type records.. jungle book, winnie the pooh, Robin hood .. the disney one. the first one I ever purchased would have to be KISS ALIVE 2.. and I was about 6 or something.. lol. |
