Wanna learn instrument
bah, i feel like i have no useful skill, i'd like to learn an instrument. i'm leaning towards a keyboard cause they are relatively inexpensive, i like the drums too, but my mom would get pissed w/ all the noise, and the electronic ones are in the thousands. can anyone steer me in the right direction as to what keyboard is good for a beginner and how i should go about learning? thanks.

just about anything with a fullsized keyboard and pressure-sensitive keys is good for a beginner. To learn, grab some piano books, throw the keyboard in piano mode, and start playing. Just takes practice. Just keep in mind that before you can start wailing on the keyboards like you see in rock/jazz bands, you gotta learn how to play chopsticks

I'd say go for the guitar too, but because you can take it anywhere to practice.

Yamaha keyboards are nice. I suggest that you try some piano, if you can find one to play, as well. It can be really helpful in learning to play music in general. You also might want to look into a computer-compatible one, because you can make all kinds of music with those.
