I missed the show last time he came to town but I'll definitely be at the Black Cat on Saturday. For those of you who don't know, Hank Williams the 3rd is the grandson of Hank Williams Sr., and Hank Jr's son. Currently my favorite country artist, and he also plays bass for Superjoint Ritual, a badass metal band. Check it out!!! :thumbsup:

I saw his CBGB date, and have considered going to it. Haven't heard hist stuff though. Too bad it has to be a weekday

Nope. Nowhere even remotely close to me.

I saw him last year in san francisco and the show was great -- the first half is alt country (or punk country) and the second half is punk -- really fun. on yop of it being a great show the crowd dynamics were hugly entertaining, it's never often that 60 year old men in ten gallon hats and 16 year old kids with mohawks find such common ground.

hank III is fucking awesome....he would be a lot more awesome if he played a show in ohio or michigan
