Anyone ever hear of this guy? or have any suggested listenings! I cant find much quality stuff on Kazaa or Soulseek so any help would be great!

he does a lot of "avante garde", "experimental" and soundtrack music if i remember correctly. he's hooked up quite a bit with mike patton (mr. bungle, faith no more, etc.) . he's got a label "tzadik".

i'd suggest listening to the samples on amazon.

He's a pretty interesting avant-jazz guy (not as scary as it probably sounds), and Tzadik's got some pretty amazing, adventurous stuff: Mike Patton's weird vocal-only releases, the awesome Melt-Banana, the pure-noise Merzbow, lots of great noise-jazz folks, etc. Well worth checking out.

I have a number of his albums. One of my favorites is Ling Che which is a really long single.

A good album to get first off is Naked City. I haven't heard much of his other stuff though - other than anything with Mike P in it!
