Most Surprising Soundtracks
 

I just recently picked up my boyfriend's soundtracks to the cartoon Cowboy Beebop, and this is some of the best music I have heard in a long time. All of it. There are many different genres of music in these disks, and there is not one song that I dislike.

I guess it just shows how I am getting sick of the debauchery that is new punk music, and this is a nice break from that. If you have ever watched the show, pick up the soundtracks. The music is great alone, and it really brings back the memories of what happened in the episodes.

I really enjoyed the music from cowboy bebop too, especially the jazz stuff though. Turns out most of the music on the show was made by a composer named Yoko Kanno and a Jazz/Big Band group called the Seatbelts. It's good stuff, but to get the real music you have to import it, and thats damn expensive.
