what are some good grateful dead songs? theres just so much its hard to know where to start.

my favorites right now are...

fire on the mountain
uncle john's band

I'm partial to most stuff off "American Beauty" and "Workingman's Dead".

I had a list of songs that are good from those CDs here.. but it was pretty much listing the two CDs.

Check out "What A Long Strange Trip It's Been" CD (double). It's labelled as a "Best-Of", but I'm guessing that could be argued for some stuff. GD seems one of those bands where everyone has their favourites.

Man, now I gotta go listen to them haha.. thanks.
