You are tasteful and accurate. Yet at the same time, I'm not entirely sure that anyone really into the whole nu-metal thing is really going to dig the Coil.

Anyways, Evanescence are tolerable, their vocalist is alright. I have a few singles by them, but I'd never buy their whole album. There's legions of angsty teenagers to do that for me.

But if anyone does want to check out Lacuna Coil, sample the tracks My Wings, Heaven's A Lie, Angel's Punishment, and When A Dead Man Walks, and see if you can enjoy it.

OK, I finally gave in. I tried the iTunes Music Store for Lacuna Coil, but they weren't there, so I Kazaa'd a couple of tunes.

Not bad, but I really don't like the gravel-voiced shouting guy I heard on the tracks; I found it took away from my enjoyment of the rest of the group. Is he like that on all the songs?

Linkin Park makes me wish I was deaf. And when I first heard Evenescence, all I could think was Linkin Park + Girl = still whiny high-school rock. Then I saw Evenescence play at the AMA's and I have to admit, they fuckin' rocked. I was impressed. Not enough to buy the album, but I enjoyed the performance.
