I like listening to music that I can relate to for whatever mood im in, and like you Ive had a few depressing periods. Anything Elliot Smith really helps cause if feels like he has a song for every mood. I listened to "St. Ide's Heaven" today.

The Flaming Lips always make me smile, pretty much whatever mood I'm in.

Espescially Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, I love that album. In fact I'm listening to it right now.
